TheStintLink was originally developed to support Racing Without Limits (RWL), a team of sim racers with disabilities competing across different time zones. Some of these drivers require assistance to get ready at the rig, and knowing exact stint times is essential for their enduro planning.
They needed a tool they could trust. So, TheStintLink was born.
Results soon followed. Using an early version of our planning tool, RWL secured wins at the iRacing’s 6h of the Glen (2024 and 2025), the Indy 6h (2024), Sebring 12h (2025), and the Nürburgring 24h (2025).
Nilton and Fernando Mattos, dad and son, led the app's development. Nilton is a veteran mechanical engineer working in packaging, and Fernando is a content guru in corporate communications. A sim racer with 25 years of experience, Fernando owns The Cerebral Palsy Driver channel and manages the RWL endurance team.
Nilton and Fernando have been driving forces in making sim racing more inclusive. Their passion for endurance racing has shaped both RWL and TheStintLink, ensuring that every driver, regardless of ability, can compete and improve on past results.
In order to take their app to the next level, they contacted professional programmers Wander Tavares and Marlon Xavier, who own Bagarote, an app and software development company.
The lead coder for TheStintLink is José Garcia, a fellow motorsports enthusiast.
In 2026, this team made TheStintLink available for everyone, from casual racers to seasoned endurance teams, helping drivers plan smarter and race better.
